Each child picks their own new bear to adopt. The bears are then given a name by their new "bear taker". A promise of commitment poem is read to the group and the ceremonies begin. An adoption certificate is completed by each party guest. Each bear is given "heart" which brings the bear's spirit "alive".
Materials are handed out to each new "bear taker" so that they can customize their own outfits for their bear. Materials are supplied to have the bear's name or the "bear taker's name put onto the bear. Then the outfitting procedure of the bears takes place. Every bear takes on their own special little look.
Each near "bear taker" will then receive a very special application of a glitter bear tattoo. This is not an applique...this is very cool!
Party guests then create a lovely bear frame keepsake to take home so that they can put a photo of themselves with their bear in it.
Suggested games are provided that included both bear and "bear taker" that are fun for all involved. These games also provide for great photo opportunities.
